A Year Later...
Last December 26, at 8:16 a.m. a 9.2 magnitude earthquake, the most powerful in 40 years, ruptured from the sea floor off Sumatra, displacing billions of tons of water and sending high walls of water, up too 33 feet high, roaring across the Indian Ocean at jetliner speeds. At least 216,000 people died or disappeared. As we remember family, friends, and survivors gather up from 12 countries one year ago today to pay respect to entire communities and families who lost it all in one of the worst natural disasters in modern history. God Bless to all of them.
